Lets fight with Griffin:
It is indeed possible to lure Griffin out of his cage. Get the screamming cannon. There is one on the level - so you can avoid cheating (even though I did).
Aim at the top left corner and fire. He will run out of his cage throught the force field and you can kick his ass.
