Guns slow you down:
Guns slow you down dramatically. Your dash becomes a slow jog! Thus, if you have a gun keep it in when you are not using it or at a dynamic place.
Townsfolk:
Townsfolk can give you valuable items or ammo if you talk to them. After talking to them, kill them. They could give you goodies such as hypos (see some tricks). Also if you thow them (i.e with overleg throw) since they are very light, they fly up high and hit enemies at long range!
Reloading Guns:
Beware! When you reload a gun, you lose all the past bullets. They are not added on to them: they replace them.
This why I never pre-reload.
